Conference Excursion
Bus tour around the beautiful Groningen province,
including visits to small villages, the Wadden coast and historic
sites such as the manor ('borg') 'Menkema', dating back to the 14th
century. Our guide will be Historian Dr
Cees van der Ploeg.

- Starting point for this excursion is the Martini Tower
('Martinitoren'), the city's most prominent landmark, right in
the middle of the city in the corner of the Great Marketplace
('Grote Markt').
The buses will leave from the right side of the Martini Church
at 09.30 a.m.
